Nice and wise statements.
I would also recommend some taken straight from the ancient Greek philosophy (quoted from the ancient Greek phisophers themselves, such as Plato, Aristotle, Herakleitos etc.).
Please, excuse my weakness about philosophy and ancient Greek philosophy, in particular. I grew up with it.
Besides, my highschool in Bulgaria specialised in classics, ancient languages and ancient cultures.
So, don't be surprised if there is too much philosophy incorporated into those statements!
Anyway, I would give you some next time.
Let me think in the meantime about mu favourite ones!
