Super Tuesday!!

Tomorrow (5th February) is ''Super Tuesday'' here in the U.S. This is the day that the presidential candidate for the republican and democratic party are chosen. One candidate, one platform, one president.
The whole election saga is incredibly fascinating to me. This is democracy at its best. For the first time in America, no one can predict the outcome. Senator Barrack Obama has brought a new set of rules to the game. I remember watching him on Oprah last year in May or June. No one can believe how far he's come.
The interesting thing is that he has supporters from all camps....black, white, young, old, rich, poor, stars, truckdrivers the list goes on. Infact here at Bard College there's a huge rally going on tonight organised by Bard students. It's incredible. Americans are comparing him to Martin Luther King Jnr. He certainly has the charisma and truly believes that he can bring change, and that this change cannot be achieved without the help of American citizens.
Now every other candidate has jumped on the ''change'' band wagon. Let's see how super Tuesday plays out.

Hello! I've been away from the blogosphere but I'm now back! How are you getting on?
Great to see you still blogging.
I love your picture slideshow.
Yes, it is an exciting time to be following American politics. At a bookshop on the weekend I came across Barack Obama's memoir, published a few years ago, it sounded really interesting.
Will watch the outcome closely!

Great to have you back!! I have missed hearing from you. Thank you for your comment. I will DEFINITELY check out everyone's blogs this weekend. I am keeping a close eye on Obama as well. But...anything can happen, this is America after all. Have a wonderful weekend.
