It's been two days since the last day of the WOW programme. It ended on Friday (11th May) and I am a little sad because I missed that last day. The pressure of doing too many things at the same time finally caught up with me, and my body went down for the count. I will share what I learnt from these past five weeks with you in the coming week. I need some time to process all the information I received from the various guest speakers and my team members. I leave you with this encouraging and quietly profound quote...
''Forget mistakes. Forget failures. Forget everything except what
you're going to do now and do it. Today is your lucky day''

I am sure you will be better soon. I am looking forward to reading your upcoming comments on the World of Work program.
Thank you Thomas, I thought you'd have left a profound insight drawn from the words of the quote. Do you think everyday is your lucky day???
The problem is not that we do not know we should live in the here and now, forget about our unpleasant past and just do it. We know all of this and we still fail. For this reason, many turn to religion - to find solace and an explanation for the failure. When I procrastinate because I feel blue since my relationship broke up, I know I should still work, like Hannah Arendt who just went to work the next day after her long time partner Walter Blucher passed away. Why do we not find the strength to do so?
